Unprecedented control at your fingertips

While the credit report repair process requires your participation, we make appropriate use of technology wherever possible in order to help facilitate your involvement. Sophisticated tools such as Dispute Manager offer our clients unprecendented control over the dispute process, yet make it a simple matter of point-and-click. And for those clients who require additional assistance, client support is only a phone call away.

Step 1: Enroll online or by phone
You begin the credit report repair process by retaining our law firm. You can either enroll online using our secure signup form, or you can call toll-free 1.800.811.9935 to enroll by phone. Our paralegals are happy to answer any questions you may have, and they are trained to treat your confidential information with the utmost discretion.
Secure online enrollment
It is safe to enroll online. We use industry-standard SSL for secure e-commerce and confidential communications. This means that the communication link between your browser and our web server is secured, and all data is encrypted prior to transmission of your enrollment information online.

Step 2: Forward current copies of your credit reports
Before we can begin the dispute cycle we will need to receive current copies of your credit reports. You can email us electronic versions, or mail hard copies to our office. This step is necessary so that our paralegals can transfer the information from your credit reports to your electronic case file, where they become accessible to you through our Dispute Manager.
Get your credit reports for free
As of September 2005, consumers are entitled to one free credit report annually from Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion. Please visit AnnualCreditReport.com to request copies of your credit reports online, or call toll-free 1.877.322.8228 to request them by phone.

Step 3: Itemize and prioritize your disputes using Dispute Manager
Once we have received your credit reports and transferred them to your electronic case file, you will be able to access your credit reports online visàvis our client extranet and use the Dispute Manager to identify those items you would like the law firm to dispute.

Dispute Manager is a sophisticated tool which gives you full control over individual aspects of the dispute cycle including selecting your preferred dispute method on an item-by-item basis, as well as prioritizing the list of items to dispute within each cycle.
Choosing a dispute method
When disputing items with the credit bureaus the law firm will argue that an item is either inaccurate, misleading, or unverifiable. Our Dispute Manager allows you to select the specific dispute method you prefer for each of the items you instruct us to dispute. Note that you can also specify items to be ignored so that they will not be disputed unless and until you indicate otherwise.
Prioritizing your disputes
One of the most popular features, Account Priority allows clients to prioritize the dispute queue with up to five items within each dispute cycle. Setting priority status is easy: simply indicate which items you would like to see removed first in order of preference by selecting them from a drop-down menu, and we will dispute them in that order. Note that multiple items associated with one account listing are disputed together.

Step 4: Credit Attorney processes your disputes and works your case
Credit Attorney, P.C. begins the most labor-intensive part of the dispute process by carefully choosing the most appropriate strategy for your particular case, then bringing to bear its expansive legal experience in order to challenge questionable negative items on your credit reports directly with the credit bureaus.

For Gold and Platinum level clients, additional legal interventions are brought to bear such as goodwill negotiations, escalated information requests, and account history investigations pursuant to applicable consumer protection statutes.
Finally, Platinum level clients also benefit from exclusive service features including Report Alert™, Inquiry Manager™, and a monthly credit score improvement analysis.

Step 5: Forward updated credit reports & letters
The credit bureaus have 30 days to process each round of disputes. Following that, they must furnish you with updated reports which will reflect any changes to your credit reports. Note that the credit bureaus will mail these updated credit reports directly to you, not the law firm. Simply forward the updated reports to us and include any other correspondence you receive from them and/or your creditors.
Since credit reporting agencies are large bureaucratic entities, it may take up to 60 days between the time we initiate a round of disputes and the time you receive your updated reports from the credit bureaus. However, this does not mean your case remains idle for 60 days. The law firm will continue performing all other tasks during that time which are essential to moving your case forward.
Whenever we receive your updated reports, we document the progress and prepare for the next round of disputes, thus gradually working through your selection of negative items.
